Yeah, the Wall's still there and to my knowledge that hasn't changed in 4th or 5th Edition. Being an athiest in Faerun is a Very Bad Idea. And this is why I find the entire alignment chart ridiculous, because a LG god letting that much suffering and pointless cruelty happen right under their nose MAKES NO SENSE.
To be fair the Wall is still there because Ao made them keep it. So I can be slightly more forgiving to the Gods of Good, but yeah, the Wall is fucked up, and it's existence is a major reason that I much prefer Pathfinder's afterlife even with the existence of Abaddon.
